This morning we attended Sacrament Meeting at the Chester Ward. There were more people there than usual because they had a baby blessing. Unfortunately, I didn't recognize anyone.
After a quick lunch, we went into Chester and walked the city wall. The wall surrounds the city. We passed the cathedral, city center, horse race course, river, and canal. It was a 3-4 mile walk and by the end we were starting to feel it. Elizabeth declared that it should be renamed, "Death by Wall."
I love seeing what you are up to! Thanks so much for posting.

The wall around Chester must have been lengthened recently, because I remember walking it and not finding it very tiring, whereas Elizabeth felt it was "death by Wall"! Or maybe I am so much fitter than you lot! It does however have some interesting views from the ramparts.
ReplyDeleteHow are the M & S chocolate meringues and swiss rolls?
You're right, Dad. The walk around the wall is only about 2 miles but we had to walk almost a mile there and another mile back to our flat. Having said that, you probably would run circles around us too. :) Sian
DeleteBy the way that last comment was from Dadra!
